Pergola Shed & Car parking shade have recently completed the construction of a mild steel fabricated car parking shade for 2 vehicles and a balcony canopy in Vardon, Damac Hills 2, Dubai. We fabricated the steel structures in our Ajman workshop and subsequently installed them at the site. These structures not only provide functional shielding from the sun to the vehicles and the balcony, but also provide an aesthetic appeal to the residence. Car parking Shade for 2 Cars
The dimensions of the car parking shade is 5.65 m (length) x 3.30m (breadth) with a height of 2.80 m. The size is sufficient to park 2 vehicles and provide clearance to open the doors fully. The mild steel frame of the structure is made up of 6″ (or 3mm) pipe for columns, 2″ (or 2.5 mm) pipe for truss and 2″ (or 2.5 mm) pipe for purlins. Other than the mild steel frame, the structure does not have any other supporting elements.
We protect the steel frames from rusting and deteriorating from the environment by coating them with two layers of NC top coat primer, and two layers of NC top coat paints. The frames were painted in colors chosen by the client, to harmonize with the color of the villa.
We constructed the roof with heat resistant, waterproof PVC sheets. The roof kept the parked cars cool and dry during the rainy season. It also provided sun shade. For aesthetics, we perforated a decorative pattern on the roof.
To add comfortable shaded areas on the balconies, we constructed a 3 m width by 1 m depth canopy. The structure is well designed, and built to last. For this reason, the columns and outframe of the canopy are of larger sections.
The roof of the canopy is made of the same heat resistant, waterproof PVC sheet as that of the car park shade. This type of sheeting keeps the balanced shaded and comfortable. The canopy is fixed firmly to the balcony to eliminate the fear of it toppling over. The shade provides ample shaded seating areas for relaxing on the balcony.
